Thing

It’s early 2015, and I’m filled with the desire to create and share. There’s something refreshing about doing things and putting them out into the world. Tonight, I’m directing that energy into coding my own website—a small yet exciting step toward building something that’s entirely mine.
In his 1959 classic The Sociological Imagination, sociologist C. Wright Mills encouraged his students to get into the habit of recording and reflecting on their experiences:
"To be a good social scientist, you need to capture and reflect on your experiences. This practice helps guide your thinking and shapes you as a thinker. One way to do this is to start a blog. In a blog, you can mix personal experiences, professional activities, ongoing work, and future plans. It helps you avoid repetitive tasks and encourages you to note down random thoughts, ideas from everyday life, snippets of conversations, or even dreams. These notes can lead to more structured thinking and relevant experiences."
This blog is my personal journal where I can express my thoughts, share my projects, and document my experiences. I hope to contribute something meaningful, no matter how small, to this online community.
If you’ve found your way here, I hope you enjoy what you find.
