Currents
The result of a supernatural obsession. I am now certain that Kevin Parker is the most talented loner in the world, and this record is the most convincing case for loneliness ever. Comparing it to Lonerism and Innerspeaker is, in my opinion, irrelevant because this is a new current.
Let It Happen
The boldest opening track possible. Perfect drum filtering that could fill the entire record, the bass guitar madness in the final section that instantly pulls you out of the flow, and glitter-bomb synths.
Yes, I'm Changing
He communicates as clearly as possible through music and lyrics. On one hand, there's a questioning of growing up, while at the end of the song, the sounds of city life remind him once again of what lies behind the door.
The Less I Know The Better
Since sorrow never comes too late
And happiness too swiftly flies
Thought would destroy their paradise
No more; where ignorance is bliss
‘Tis folly to be wise
Love/Paranoia
I don't know how it will be remembered in the future, but for me, it's the best track of the album.
New Person, Same Old Mistakes
This track will make Tame Impala mainstream. People will either think that or they'll want it to be fake, but maybe they'll like the new space and the sounds they're making.
