Hi, I’m Okan — an engineer working on local-first software that aims to enhance how we interact with our tools.

I graduated from I.T.U. with a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Building "The Other" with a few friends at True Laurel. Previously worked as a founding software engineer at Metavest.

I wonder whether is it possible to turn internet from a stagnant lake into a vast ocean filled with interconnecting streams that are only as successful as they are open. I have authored an article discussing this particular subject.

As a co-researcher, I’m working on thesis of specialization in medicine "Investigation of Medication Adherence of Patients with Schizophrenia use of a Novel Artificial Intelligence."
